Professional photography hasn’t always been my passion. I have tried a number of careers, from barista to art teacher to health coach, even getting several degrees along the way. Still, nothing fit me well enough for me to see my future in it.
Growing up, I used to spend hours playing dress-up and posing in front of my mirror, dreaming of what I could be, until the pressure to look a certain way took that joy away. I lost my confidence, and I stopped dreaming. It just slipped away without me really noticing it.
During my professional shoot, I began to come alive again. The camera showed me what I could not see. I saw myself in a whole new light, and I found a whole new level of confidence.
